Principal Investigator Coordinating project execution, supporting laboratory work during engine retrofitting, developing software for data acquisition during lab-scale tests, supporting the demonstration stage, controlling data exchange process between project partners

WP2 and WP5 leader Involved with lab-scale test, retrofitting CI engine for ammonia injection, designing fuel line and fuel injection systems, engine calibration, engine performance tests for various operational conditions

WP4 leader Coordinating the assessment of sustainability and economic profitability of the technology, responsible for LCA, thermo-ecological and exergo-economic analyses

NTNU
Norwegian University of Science and Technology contributed by adding their knowledge in areas like:
- fuel composition and characteristics,
- emissions measurements (NOx, PM, CO, etc),
- optical combustion chamber investigations,
- CFD and SRM simulations,
- research work.
David Emberson
Researcher, Work package 1 leader. Overseeing the design, development, commissioning and experimentation with the single cylinder compression ignition, direct injection engine, operating on liquid ammonia and diesel fuel, with the work conducted at Department of Energy and Process Engineering, NTNU. David will co - supervise a PhD candidate working on this project.

Karl Oskar Pires Bjørgen
Responsible for experimental and numerical investigation of combustion analysis of the fuel using a small compression ignition engine. In team since March 2022.

LOGE Polska Sp. z o.o. will add their experience on modelling, simulations and optimization
of integrated engine systems and will help with:
- software licences,
- engine simulation consultancy,
- research and development work; simulations/optimization,
- bridging the gap between new research and applied engineering.

Coordinates research activities conducted in WP3 and supports their implementation in the demonstration phase of the project in WP5.

University of Agriculture in Krakow
University of Agriculture in Krakow will add their experience in dealing with agricultural vehicles:
- agriculture vehicle for technology demonstration in real conditions,
- testing (field testing),
- in cooperation with AVANT and BCS possibility of extending technology demo for other applications,
- influence and working stability of the NH3 fueled agricultural vehicle in real operating conditions.
